Wow, the past few days have been quite eventful. I celebrated my 24th birthday on Saturday in Cleveland, then spent Mother’s Day up on Lake Erie with my wonderful family. It was an amazing weekend filled with beautiful weather, beautiful people and delicious treats (shout out to Sweetie Fry for the greatest strawberry ice cream in the world).
I also modeled in my first fashion show (the Goodwill Good Style event) this past Thursday! As I’d mentioned earlier, Jessica of Midwest Muse kindly asked me to volunteer and I’m so glad I did. The show was a huge success, and everyone I spoke with, including my friends and family who decided to attend, had a blast! Our group of models sported a boho theme, and everyone looked spectacular in their thrifted finds.
Getting dressed up was one of the best parts of the show. Not only am I obsessed with this beautiful dress, but the students from the Brown Aveda Institute did a fantastic job on our hair and makeup!
It was so fun hanging with fellow local bloggers and being a part of something so exciting at such a beautiful venue. I also want to say thanks to my awesome friends and family who came out to cheer me on! You guys rock.
Have a lovely day,
